Mid-September freezes are not all too uncommon for these areas, but steps will still need to be taken to ensure the integrity of outdoor plants. With farmers in their final stage of the growing season, the weather is not cooperating with temperatures or rain for that matter. Some rain is possible middle of this week, but the drought will continue to hold.
